Hey nice piece, I really like the melody that plays throughout the track. The sound design sounds pretty coo; vital does have some really cool tricks up its sleeve huehue. I would say for the mix I would make the drums louder and have the instruments make way for the drums; perhaps a stronger sidechain set up in place.

Ay thanks for the feedback!

Man, the blend between the melody and Rhode thing is so good. The little rattles at the end are cool but they're just a bit loud. The mix is fine but tbh it could just use a bit of mastering to get the volume up; not compressing anything though I'm sure that's how this style of music goes, just let the peaks clip. Great work!

RaFii responds:

Thanks man! I appreciate your review! btw I will invest for a more quality earphone because im using a cheap one lol 😂. btw I used FL mobile there

huehue, yea this does make me wanna lazily wander around as a reptile

Woah this track is cool. This is the type of stuff I wish I could make way back then with that kick and sub-bass rhythm. I feel that the high shelf could use a little boost and a bit of EQing to the mids to make room for other instruments sharing the same frequencies. Doing this would get rid of that sorta annoying mid resonance feel. Other than that sick track m8!

God those pads are lush, though that sound effect at around 2:42 is a bit loud. Other than that this is a cool piece!

I love the melody and groove of this, very relaxed huehue.

Thanks, means a lot to me =]

Hehe, wait till you get to use sausage fattener or OTT. Also, the track could also use a bit of stereo widening for that bass; it'll create space for those hats and rides to shine.

Kierham responds:

I use FL Studio Mobile, so non-stock plugins cannot be used. Thanks for the feedback! :)

Woa man super cool track, the sound design is crazy. You already did mention the highs just not sure what exactly you thought is wrong with them; to me, they just sound pretty loud. Loud highs isn't a bad thing if done right. It's better not to overcompress them.

I think in this case it's better if the high-shelf had more dynamic range and not overpower the bass. The highs coming from the bass should complement the bass as texture. What should truly be really loud are the hats and cymbals as they are the main drivers of the rhythm; if the bass texture is louder than the hats themselves do the hats really exist?
